Seven Stories from Seven Sisters: A Collection of Philippine Folktales is a children's book that collects retellings of Filipino folk tales. Members of the writers' group PAWWA (Philippine American Women Writers and Artists) retold these ancient Philippine folklore and myths. There are seven stories; and the book has approximately 40 pages.TThe book has black and white illustrations. The folk retellings include beloved tales such as: Seven Thousand Emeralds, The Legend of Mt. Makiling, A Secret in Makiling, The Mermaid and Kanag, The Legend of Siete Pecados, The Haunted Dakit Tree, and Bolak Sonday: The Woman Warrior. This childre's book was first published by PAWWA in 1992. This 2022 reprint is by PALH (Philippine American Literary House).
