One day, after a particularly grueling day at school, I took a shortcut home through the woods. It was a path that few people knew about. Walking deeper into the woods, I heard a rustling in the bushes. Wild animals were known to live in this part of the forest, and I hoped it wasn't one of them coming out to hunt me down. It was massive, with shaggy fur and sharp, pointed teeth. It growled at me, and my fear turned to panic as I realized it was getting closer. I stumbled back, my heart racing, my mind filled with terror. My thoughts raced as I tried to figure out what to do. Should I run? Should I stay still?
