About the Author Gordon has lived in the Pacific Northwest since his early teens and has a deep love for the beauty of this region. An avid recumbent bicyclist he can often be seen riding to his favorite table at a riverside park where most of his books have been written. He spent many years in retail management, maintenance supervision and dabbled in invention, but his real love is ministering to the Church. A believer since early childhood he has served and ministered with devotion in several denominational groups, with a slant towards deliverance ministry. However he came to a crisis of faith in his late thirties that caused him to reevaluate what it means to be genuine before God. Jesus answered to that request with a personal, transforming and powerful understanding of what He had accomplished on the Cross. In his first book ¿Out from the Shadow of Other God¿s¿, Gordon shares how he came to understand genuine relationship with the Savior and gives practical insights as to how to set at bay any religious counterfeit. His second work ¿The Shadow of the Spiritual¿ addresses the roots of bondage and how we as believers can avoid unnecessary physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual trouble as we make our way through society and the Church.
