Autorenporträt

In San Carlos, California, in 1959, M. A. Senft wrote her first story. Entered in a sixth-grade writing contest, she won first place. Years later she retold the story to her grandchildren. Her oldest grandson requested a written, expanded version of that original tale. M. A. is concerned about Mother Earth and humankind's footprint on the planet. It has inspired her to write a descriptive fantasy of what she feels could be a possible outcome of abusing our home. Raised in Beech Grove, Indiana, she grew up in a time where television stations were few and playing outdoors was an everyday occurrence, no matter the season. She is a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
