He filmed several short detective stories before beginning to write fiction himself. The first story was published by the German Sherlock Holmes Society in 2017. His stories are intended to make his admiration for Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's stories accessible to other Holmes enthusiasts. Other literary models include Edgar Allan Poe, Agatha Christie, and Edgar Wallace.
