Daniel Kline is a journalist on a mission, haunted by the mysterious disappearance of his fiancée, Laura, over twenty years ago. When a cryptic photograph of Laura resurfaces, Daniel's world quickly begins to unravel. It's being rewritten.

As he digs deeper, Daniel discovers a horrifying truth: there are shadowy forces at workbeings who manipulate reality itself, rewriting people's lives, erasing memories, and reshaping the world according to their own mysterious agenda. And worst of all? They've already started rewriting him.

Desperate for answers, Daniel turns to Detective Harper, a man who knows more about the rewriting than he's willing to admit. Harper had been chasing the same mystery for years, but every lead he'd found had been erased, rewritten as if it had never existed. Together, they uncover a hidden facility on the outskirts of towna place where the rewriting happens, controlled by a powerful figure only known as Mr. S.

But Mr. S is no ordinary villain. He's calm, collected, and utterly convinced that what he's doing is for the greater good. In his hands, reality itself is nothing more than a narrative to be edited, revised, and perfected. And Daniel? He's just a character in a much larger storyone that's already been written.

Yet Daniel refuses to be erased. Armed with nothing but his determination, a mysterious notebook left by a woman named Karen, and his own snarky sense of humour, Daniel confronts Mr. S in the heart of the rewriting facility. There, he faces a glowing spherethe source of the rewriting powerand learns that stopping it could unravel all of reality as they know it.

In a final, desperate act, Daniel uses the notebook to break the rewrite, shattering the sphere and tearing open reality itself. As the facility crumbles and Mr. S is swallowed by the very shadows he once controlled, Daniel emerges into a new worlda world where the rewriting has stopped, and reality is finally stable again.

But in the end, Daniel is left with a haunting question: if the rewriting can be broken, can it ever truly be stopped? Or is reality always just one keystroke away from being rewritten?

Bill Stewart spent an incredible 42 years at sea, navigating the world's oceans and gathering stories from the many adventures that a life at sea provides. After retiring, Bill turned to writing as a way to supplement his pension income, discovering a new passion for storytelling along the way.

Bill began writing children's storybooks, and to date, he has twelve published titles available on Kindle. His gift for storytelling soon expanded into the teen thriller genre, where he has published three gripping thrillers that have captivated young adult readers.
