They succeed in securing this newfound love, only to have it tragically end. The story of Harold and Pam lays bare some of the problems facing todays society.

My desire to write was awakened at Dominican University when I decided to take a creative writing class. After several short stories, I started on this novella as a senior. l was encouraged to write now and inform some of my life experiences. Writing, to me, is an act of courage because it challenges one's self. It took me a long time to face this challenge.
