Ana comes to New York to intern at a public hospital in Jackson Heights, a Queens neighborhood known for its diverse immigrant community.
When a Tibetan infant arrives at the ER with symptoms of arsenic poisoning, Ana suspects foul play, only to have the baby's mother arrested for attempted murder. Convinced of the woman's innocence, Ana embarks on her own investigation. She reaches out to Gus and Sammy for help, and together, the trio uncovers a web of corruption and criminal activity tied to two seemingly unrelated murders. As they dig deeper, they put their lives on the line to protect the vulnerable residents of Jackson Heights.
