Max Brand, the pen name of Frederick Schiller Faust (1892–1944), was an American author known for his prolific output in the Western genre. Born in Seattle, Washington, Faust initially embarked on a career in poetry before finding his niche in the action-packed world of Westerns. 'Silvertip' is one of his many novels that enthrall readers with the adventurous tales of the Wild West.
