Autorenporträt

The author, Anne Hayward, (born in 1943), became a Christian as a child of 7, and grew to love reading her Bible and praying regularly. She trained as a nurse, has taught Sunday school since her early teens, and currently teaches on a rota basis at her local church, Holy Trinity, Hinckley. For many years she was a Speaker for Mothers Union.

Most of her life has been spent caring for children at playgroups or the Elderly, when she worked for a few years in a Care Home and as a Warden in a sheltered housing scheme, gaining valuable experience in helping Early Dementia Residents. Subsequently, she cared for her Mother-in-law who had Vascular Dementia: this prompted her to write a booklet of prayers and simple Bible stories (from which this book has evolved), and found it beneficial as an aid to remind her of well-loved Bible passages. Annes first husband was disabled for over 20 years, and in that time she trusted God to be her strength and helper daily. Anne has 3 daughters, 2 Granddaughters and 3 Great-Granddaughters, and has been married to Clive since September, 2012.
