This book is about the period of Dr. Mohamed Morsi's rule, which did not last more than a year, as Mohamed Salamawy's writings were a daily record of the Brotherhood's rule, and a living testimony to the failure of that rule at various political, economic, security, and cultural levels. During that period, the country witnessed an unusual boom in the arms trade. Among citizens, in defense of themselves, their families, their homes, and their property, because at the beginning of the revolution, the Brotherhood had attacked police stations and prisons, smuggling detainees there, and stealing whatever weapons they had in their hands, and other quantities of weapons and ammunition were smuggled across both the eastern and western borders, and in the face of the continuing state of chaos. Security, the demand for weapons increased among citizens, and a new informal industry appeared for the first time to produce a cheap type of pistol that only fires one bullet. This was a poor, primitive pistol.
