M. D. Wiselln was born and raised in Ohio. He is not, so far as he knows, actually a werewolf, though he does go online and pretend that he is one every now and then. He has been involved in chat-based online roleplaying since the late 1990s and still spends many a late night doing so.

When not writing, roleplaying, or thinking about writing or roleplaying, he enjoys going to the movies and musical theater. He also enjoys football watching, not playing.

He now lives happily with his wife (whom he actually met on one of those roleplaying sites), his son, and several cats.
