Autorenporträt
Emil N. Mauritz wurde in einem kleinen Bergdorf in den Schweizer Alpen, im dreisprachigen Kanton Graubünden, geboren, wo er auch aufwuchs. Er besuchte nach seiner Gymnasialzeit in Samedan die Technische Hochschule in Buchs, an der er 1993 sein Studium als eidg. dipl. Elektroingenieur erfolgreich abschloss. Seit jeher faszinierte ihn die Literatur, was ihn dazu bewog, sie während der gesamten Zeit seiner höheren Ausbildung als Wahlfach zu belegen. Auf diese Weise wurde er in die Werke verschiedenster deutscher und fremdsprachiger Schriftsteller eingeführt. Heute lebt und arbeitet er im idyllischen Mittelland seiner Heimat. Er ist verheiratet und hat zwei bereits erwachsene Töchter. Der aus speziellen Lebensumständen hervorgegangene Roman ¿Skizzen eines Sommerrausches¿ entstand ungeplant und praktisch aus dem Nichts. Er stellt Emil N. Mauritz¿ Erstlingswerk dar. Der Autor veröffentlicht dieses Buch unter Pseudonym.
