Produktbeschreibung
Chuck Hansen is ready to pay it forward. Only three years earlier, fresh out of prison and stuck in a downward spiral, his long-lost sisters Rose Ellen, Marge, and Mutzi appeared, giving him hope and a new life. Chuck is determined to repay their kindness and prove to the town of Dahlonega who he really is. When he proposes creating a peaceful sanctuary called Skipping Stone Lodge, his sisters rally to support him.

Because of unplanned expenses and delays, opening the lodge depletes Chuck's financial and emotional bank accounts. When he needs to be at an important meeting to obtain the final permits for the lodge, his truck disappears. Chuck meets Buddy, a troubled young homeless man. He gives him shelter and food in exchange for labor.

Buddy borrows Chuck's truck to get rid of some furniture Rose Ellen bought but she doesn't want her siblings to know about it. Unknowingly, he resells the furniture to a crook who has robbed a gold mine. A guy takes a picture of Chuck's truck at the gold mine and turns it in to the police. The police believe Chuck robbed the gold mine and he is arrested during the grand opening of the lodge.

Chuck wants to protect Buddy, who is only 16, from being arrested so he refuses to provide his name to the police. Meanwhile, his sisters start making phone calls and working their magic to get Chuck released in time for the first guests to arrive.

The siblings skip a stone across the river's edge, releasing their frustrations and vowing to start new beginnings.
