Autorenporträt
Kanan Srivastava, born in Lucknow and brought up in New Delhi, has his roots in the picturesque city of Nainital. He was originally trained as an IT engineer, but then his path led him to the world of acting and filmmaking. Equipped with a two-year degree in acting from the William Esper Studio in New York and an MA in filmmaking from the University of Kent, Kanan embodies a diverse artistic background. Driven by his passion for authentic storytelling and performance, Kanan draws inspiration from literary greats such as Henrik Ibsen, Chekhov and Anne Baker. His artistic endeavours extend beyond the written word to include the visual medium of filmmaking. In a remarkable creative project, Kanan has written the book

"Kalamanch", "A narrative that transcends the imagination by connecting real human experiences. This literary work took on a new dimension when Kanan turned it into a captivating web series titled "Kalamanch"," now available on Amazon Prime in the United States and the United Kingdom. Kanan Srivastava currently lives in the cultural hub of London, UK, and continues to write stories that combine the imperfections of real life with the vivid flavours of his imagination.
