Dr Chutiporn Anutariya is an Associate Professor in Computer Science and Information Management at the School of Engineering and Technology, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand. She obtained her Masters' degree and PhD in Computer Science from AIT in 1998 and 2001 respectively. Her PhD thesis also won the Dissertation Award from the National Research Council of Thailand in 2003. She was a postdoctoral fellow at the Faculty of Information Technology, Mathematics and Electrical Engineering, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Norway in 2002-2003. Her recent projects and contribution in MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) and learning analytics were among the pioneering works in Thailand in the field of online education and learning technologies. Her expertise and research in Semantic Web, ontologies, open government data, education technologies, data analytics and informatics have received wide recognition.

Dr Dejian Liu is a Senior Engineer whograduated from the University of Kansas, the United States of America, and received a Ph.D. degree from Beijing Normal University, China in 2020. Currently working as the Chairman and Executive Director at NetDragon Websoft, he also serves on the Board of Directors at Fujian TQ Digital Incorporation, on the Board at Baidu, and as a Member of the Standing Committee at Fujian Science Association. As the Vice Chairman of the Fujian Young Entrepreneur Association, he has received numerous awards, including the Business Venture Hero award, Excellent Entrepreneur award, Youth Entrepreneurship Achievement award, and the Science and Technology for Young People award.

Dr Kinshuk is the Dean of the College of Information at the University of North Texas, the United States of America. Prior to that, he held the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC)/Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL)/Xerox/McGraw Hill Research Chair for Adaptivity and Personalization in Informatics, funded by the federal government of Canada, provincial government of Alberta, and by national and international industries. He was also Full Professor in the School of Computing and Information Systems, and Associate Dean of Faculty of Science and Technology, at Athabasca University, Canada. After completing his first degree from India, he earned his Masters’ degree from Strathclyde University (Glasgow) and PhD from De Montfort University (Leicester), United Kingdom. His work has been dedicated to advancing research on the innovative paradigms, architectures and implementations of online and distance learning systems for individualized and adaptive learning in increasingly global environments. Areas of his research interests include learning analytics, learning technologies, mobile, ubiquitous and location aware learning systems, cognitive profiling, and interactive technologies.

Professor Ahmed Tlili is an Associate Professor at Beijing Normal University, China, Adjunct Associate Professor at An-Najah University, Palestine and a Visiting Professor at UNIR, Spain. He is the Co-Director of the OER Lab at the Smart Learning Institute of Beijing Normal University (SLIBNU), China. He serves as the Editor of Springer Series Future Education and Learning Spaces, and the Associate Editor of Smart Learning Environments, IEEE Bulletin of the Technical Committee on Learning Technology, and the Journal of e-Learning and Knowledge Society. Prof. Tlili is also an expert at the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO). He has edited several special issues in several journals. He has also published several books, as well as academic papers in international referred journals and conferences. He has been awarded the Martin Wolpers 2021 Prize by the Research Institute for Innovation and Technology in Education (UNIR iTED) in recognition of excellence in research, education and significant impact on society. He also has been awarded the IEEE TCLT Early Career Researcher Award in Learning Technologies for 2020.

Dr Junfeng Yang is a Professor in Hangzhou Normal University, China, and also a visiting Professor in Beijing Normal University (BNU), China. He serves as the Vice Dean of the Educational Informatization Strategy Research Base (Beijing) established by the Ministry of Education in China in 2020. He earned his doctor degree in 2014 from BNU majoring in educational technology, and visited Athabasca University from December 2014 to December 2015. He has been working on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education since 2010, and has served as a consultant for different levels of policy making on ICT in education and smart education. He has published more than 40 academic papers, and earned the title of 'Zhejiang creative and leading talent in higher education', 'Zhejiang Young Zhijiang social science scholar', and 'Hangzhou new century 131 scholar'. He serves as the Associate Editor of the journal Smart Learning Environments published by Springer.

Dr Maiga Chang is currently a Full Professor at the School of Computing and Information Systems, Athabasca University, Canada. He has given more than 105 talks and lectures at different conferences, universities, and events. He has participated in more than 310 international conferences and workshops as a Program Committee Member. He has (co-)authored more than 225 books, special issues, book chapters, journal articles, and international conference papers. His research interests include game-based learning, training and assessment, learning behavior pattern analysis and extraction, learning analytics and academic analytics, data mining and artificial intelligence, health informatics, natural language processing, intelligent agent technology, multi-agent systems, mobile health, mobile learning, and ubiquitous learning. He is an Advisory Board Member of the Journal of Computers and Applied Science Education. He is also the Chair of the IEEE Technical Committee of Learning Technology (IEEE TCLT), and an Executive Committee Member of the Asia-Pacific Society for Computers in Education (APSCE), the Global Chinese Society for Computers in Education (GCSCE), and the Chinese Society for Inquiry Learning (CSIL).
