Amber wakes to silhouettes hovering over her, examining her as though she were some kind of guinea pig. Biocorp, the home of Baker's deluded, power-driven science experiments, is now sustainably powered off a once-lethal plant and is training Arcs as weapons to annex other habitable lands. Discovering Amber is in the middle of Baker's vile experiments, Amber must calculatedly determine the trajectory of the Arcs' fate, along with her family and her own fate.

Will she bring down Baker and BioCorp?

Who can she even trust at this moment?
