I am a Medical Animal Writer. I wrote numerous magazine articles about dogs and cats in the past, mostly medical. I was the editor of Catnip Magazine (from Tufts Univ. School of Veterinary Medicine). I am the author of "Help Your Dog Fight Cancer," and of "So Easy to Love, So Hard to Lose." I co-authored "Canine and Feline Geriatric Oncology." I am the founder and administrator of the Magic Bullet Fund,which helps people who have a dog with cancer but can't afford treatment costs. In the past I have been a psychotherapist (masters in counseling), a computer software developer, a producer of educational filmstrips/videos and a veterinary surgical assistant. I live in Briarcliff NY with partner Mike and canine partner Stone.
