The concept of post-colonial literature, its most prominent issues, and its cultural and linguistic interactions are discussed, and then it is exposed to the life and creativity of one of its most famous figures, the Somali novelist Nur al-Din Farah, through a discussion of one of the novels of his latest trilogy. The critical vision relied on a strategy guided by the mechanisms of the narrative approach, and dealt positively with cultural criticism to determine what distinguishes the cultural structure in Somali society, which consists of many tributaries: Arab, Islamic, and African, in addition to the subjective feeling that fills the collective consciousness of what is called Greater Somalia, in addition to the social dimensions.
