It presents a perspective of the changing status of women, the prevalent sex-role expectations and sex-role definitions along with certain theoretical frame-works to understand the personality of women in employment. Using T.P.P.S. and Indian adaption of Rosenberg's self-esteem scale, the book provides information about certain socio-cultural aspects of women such as parental influence, role of family, attitude towards career and home vs. job conflict.
