Autorenporträt
Christine Schonewald was born in Paris and immigrated to the United States when she was five years old, spending her childhood in California. She attended the University of California at Davis and the University of Maryland and worked as a research scientist and college professor. Schonewald and her husband, Lou, now live on Lummi Island, Washington. She has a daughter and grandchildren. She is also the author of One Stranger's Songs.
