Cradle to the Grave:

When a colonization vessel known as a 'dawn freighter' re-enters human-controlled space after decades of being unreachable, Allistair's Enforcers are called to check it out. To Allistair and his team it appears as though the ship is completely empty.

Apate Nevermore is working undercover with the VCPD to investigate reports of cannibalism in the lower districts. The acts aren't random. When one of her partners goes missing while on assignment things get more interesting. Now Apate must track down the gang and her partner without blowing her cover or ending up on a dinner plate.

Bren Beltrami has committed some very specific crimes to end up in Askaro prison. He did this because that's where his estranged father has spent the last decade or two of his life. While in prison, Bren is discovers a secret the warden has been hiding and has to play ball long enough to get his father, and himself, out in one piece.

Unfortunately, both Bren's father and the warden have other plans.
