Tony Boudreaux is torn between two worlds-the one he is trying to create for himself and his brother, and the world his grandfather Sly has built in the underbelly of indecency. He goes through his day-to-day in the desperate struggle of loving his family and honoring his commitment to be more than what his grandfather laid out for him to be. Along the way he goes through many metamorphoses in order to do what needs to be done, clawing his way out only to be dragged back to face his demons.

Autorenporträt
Marquin A. Franklin Sr. was born in Louisiana, and from an early age, writing has been his escape and his outlet to solve adverse situations. Growing up, he endured a constant struggle to maintain a positive position in life, and he will still not accept anything less than positivity. His inspiration comes from a place of having overcome many obstacles by placing ten toes firmly on the ground, which he still does to this day. A mantra he lives by is: If it is not beneficial it is artificial-meaning, if something does not hold subsistence it does not have any place in his life. Believing in right and wrong, there is not an area of gray. If you always put God first, everything will fall into place.
