South Wind is a novel by British writer Norman Douglas, first published in 1917. Norman Douglas (1868-1952) was a British writer and traveler, best known for his novel "South Wind" and his travelogue "Old Calabria". Born in Austria to a Scottish mother and an Austrian father, Douglas spent much of his life traveling and living abroad.
