Autorenporträt
A native of Montevideo, Héctor Rosso worked as a nurse in Uruguay for more than 28 years. He was Professor and Director at the Department for Education & Community Health, Faculty of Nursing & Health Technologies, at Catholic University, Uruguay, and more recently, he was Assistant Director of a large psychiatric hospital, in addition to serving as Director of Nursing at the only Public pediatric hospital in Uruguay. This experience deepened his desire to develop well-being and care for nurses, which formulated his research for his double Master's thesis, completed in 2018. Currently, Héctor is an Adjunct Faculty Associate for WCSI, and a Caring Science Scholar, committed to a leading role on "WCSI Sur," supporting Spanish speaking health professionals interested in Caring Science. Héctor also works as a holistic nurse educator, speaker, and consultant; and is honored to support nurses and other care givers with their own personal and professional development. He is also a certified Reiki Practitioner. Hector currently divides his time between Hollywood, Florida and Brighton, England, where he enjoys taking long walks on the beach while listening to love songs from the 80s in the company of his beloved "Mate"(traditional tea). This is his first book.
