Autorenporträt
Author Peter F. Serra was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1946. He was born again at the age of thirty-three through the grace of God. He is a husband, father, and grandfather and has been married to his lovely wife since 1967. Without her patience, this work could never have been accomplished.

Mr. Serra was (is now retired) a licensed stationary engineer with the city of New York and was also employed in many private hospitals in Brooklyn. He is a United States Navy veteran, enlisting in the navy at age seventeen, and served aboard the USS Cambria APA36 from February 1964 through October 1967. As a "Gator Navy" sailor (Amphibious forces), he learned many things that have carried over for the remainder of his life. As a navy boiler man, this initial training was honed and built upon until ultimately he became licensed to operate such high-pressure vessels within his chosen civilian profession. He received an honorable discharge for his service at the completion of his military obligation.
