Autorenporträt
About the Author: Jill Whetter stole the idea for her first children's book from her oldest grandson, Parker. After a career of more than twenty-five years as a court reporter capturing wild witness stories, Jill is ready to tell imaginative stories of her own-or more accurately, to bring life to her endless conversations with her six grandchildren. She loves to travel, cook, and garden with David, her husband of more than forty years, who would accurately describe her as an avid reader-mostly in the middle of the night. About the Illustrator: David Harston was doodling instead of paying attention when the bus to adulthood came by, so he missed it. Today, David is a sixty-year-old kid with a passion for art; he has been professionally illustrating for more than thirty years. David appreciates the simple things in life, and he feels blessed to have the ability to express his thoughts through his illustrations.
