Autorenporträt

Christchurch born; Jonathan Elsom originally trained as a sculptor, beforea bursary took him to London in 1959to study as an actor at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. A successful 40 year UK acting career in theatre, television and films followed.In 2000 he settled in Sydney where he has continued to appear in theatre, TV and films. In 2003 he began writing short stories and poetry and these have since won awards and been published in the UK, USA and Australia. In 2014 his first illustrated collection of short stories - "Sinking Violet & OtherStories" was published.
