The narrative proceeds at a fast pace, depicting a dark, dramatic reality in the context of dysfunctional social, economic, and political conditions, the darkness of which the novel works to reveal. Perhaps the logic of the absurd and the surreal horizon based on paradox, and perhaps the bifurcation of the central story and the emergence of micro-narratives from its core, are factors that distinguished the text with vitality and the ability to draw the recipient into its imagined worlds, and to its fictional characters as they go through their experience and search for a possible horizon for a common life. The novelist puts us from the beginning in the experience of reality, and informs us of the dilemma and concerns of his characters. In doing so, he creates a horizon for a story that can be characterized by tragedy and dramatic depth. However, this horizon, despite the sadness associated with it, creates a large margin for irony and sarcasm. From the essence of irony, and based on sarcasm, we find ourselves faced with absurd facts and a surreal situation experienced by the characters, which distinguishes the text with great lightness and liveliness. Thus, the narrator was able to transform the state of imprisonment into a comic state aimed at denouncing what is happening in reality and dismantling its absurd and absurd logic.
