Whether you're in a lonely place, ready to hit the panic button, or wanting to go deeper in your spiritual walk, this book is a gift to women in all walks of life. You can have peace and hope in hard times. Your journey can start today.

The women of the Red Ink Circle are seven Christian authors in Georgia who meet online each month to encourage one another in their writing journey. They seek to honor Jesus Christ in all they do. Just as iron sharpens iron, so do these women sharpen each other as they work on their craft, seek to honor God, and encourage others worldwide to find their purpose and calling in life. This book is their first work of unified heart, crafted together during the summer and fall of 2020.

¿You can have peace and hope when life is difficult. Whether you find yourself in a lonely place, ready to jump ship, or wanting to go deeper in your spiritual journey, this book will encourage you to stay afloat in the power of God.

In Stay in the Boat, seven women from all ages and stages of life ink words of hope, peace, and grace to help you as you paddle forward amidst the challenges of being a woman in today's crazy world.

Through these 31 devotionals, daily scriptures, and prayer prompts you'll be encouraged to:

  • Find peace in your journey and calling of life as you seek the Lord.
  • Hear life examples of job loss, betrayal, embarrassment, and redemption from women who have found that Jesus is the answer to their deepest needs for love and purpose.

Autorenporträt
Valerie Benton is the visionary of the Red Ink Circle. As a former award-winning journalist for The Albany Herald and retired hospital public relations manager, Valerie knew that God was calling her to continue to reach the world through her words. The Holy Spirit impressed on her heart to gather other like-minded writers "to be Literary Missionaries, shining the light of Christ in a dark world with the written word." She truly lives this message with a bright smile and a tender heart, even in the midst of adversity. Valerie writes inspirational women's fiction, but also has non-fiction works in progress. She is the published author of "Greater Heights," a novel that follows the journey of a young, battered wife searching for answers in the midst of the 9/11 tragedy. Valerie is wife to Harold and mother to two grown sons, mother-in-law to their beautiful wives, and grandmother to three grandsons and one granddaughter. Besides writing, she loves to teach the Word, sing, read, and watch old movies ? oh, and drink all the coffee!
