Since his first job in advertising at the age of 16, Jeffrey Metzner has had a long, distinguished career as a top advertising creative at Doyle Dayne Bernbach, an award-winning director of television commercials, a ground-breaking graphic designer for Young & Rubicam, and a respected painter. He has participated in creating ad campaigns for top accounts including Godiva, Sprite, Citibank, Halston, Prudential, and more. Metzner is the head of the Motion Graphics Department at the School of Visual Arts and a member of the board of directors for the Art Directors Club. He and his eight children, his six grandchildren, and his wife, photographer Sheila Metzner, live in New York.
