Writing is an expression of emotion which Princess Duncanson uses to illustrate her story. Princess Duncanson started Amira Rose LLC as a way to empower women through her poetry and invoke healing. Princess Duncanson began writing poetry and short stories when she was ten years old. She was actively involved in several theatrical plays and events during her teen years while performing with The Peppermint Players. She also had the pleasure of performing to a sold out audience at NJPAC in "Once On This Island". During a tumultuous period in her life is when she decided begin her journey with writing and expression. She began cultivating her craft by putting pain to page and realized that writing would relieve her of the past she couldn't let go. Today, Princess finds joy in sharing her work with hopes that it touches her audience and encourages someone who may be going through difficult times in their life. Princess Duncanson uses her poetic & motivational speaking platform to help all women realize their strengths with achieving their mental, physical, and spiritual goals through poetic healing. Princess Duncanson is happily married, a mother of four children and resides in the Garden State of New Jersey. Alongside being a poet, motivational speaker and author, she has also built a business in Real Estate as a licensed Realtor and Real Estate Investor. During her downtime she enjoys spending quality time with her family by going to each of her children's sporting engagements.
