Dr Parveen Prasad's area of Doctoral research has been in the domain of leadership and human resource in an employee environment. She has been teaching at the Graduate and Post Graduate levels in a Pune University affiliated College. She is also a visiting faculty at various MBA institutes, teaching HR-related subjects. She is also an HR consultant and a corporate trainer on leadership and HR-related modules.
Her first reference book was titled, "Human Resource Management-The Human Face", which she co-authored with Sekhar Seshan, Consulting Editor, Business India.
