This book includes two articles: one of them is by a well-known French orientalist, who specialized in Sufism, a specialty that raised his reputation, and who was famous for being fair in what he wrote, namely Professor Louis Massignon. The other is by a great Egyptian imam of our thinkers who combined the ancient and the modern. He studied in Egypt and France, and held the professorship in Islamic philosophy at Cairo University. He is truly considered the pioneer of this philosophy, namely Professor Sheikh Mustafa Abdel Razzaq.
