This book briefly sheds light on the history of ancient Egypt. It deals with Egypt in the prehistoric era, the Old Kingdom, the Middle Kingdom, and the New Kingdom. It sheds light on the era of Alexander the Great, and Egypt during the Ptolemaic era and the Roman era. Long generations before the beginning of history, peoples of Libyans from the West and Somalis from the East came to Egypt, and they mixed with the Egyptians and influenced their civilization. Then, after that, Semitic peoples landed in Egypt from Asia via the Isthmus of Suez, and they greatly influenced the language of the Egyptians. Civilization began in Egypt before the historical era (i.e. before 32 BC) a long time ago, estimated by scientists at about one hundred thousand years. They divided this long period into three eras, according to the growth and development of civilization and the materials that man used in making the tools he used, which are: - The Stone Age The ancient - Neolithic - the era of the beginning of metals.
