I'm a recently retired teacher. I taught reading in elementary school for thirty years. I have an advance degree in reading. I love writing, especially poetry. When I retired, I started writing short stories. I'd like to share my writing with others. I lived in Dallas, Texas, for over forty years. I was born in Alabama, and I spent my childhood there. As a teenager, I was very active in the freedom movement in Selma, Alabama. I've been married for more than forty years, and I have one son and one grandson.
