Malakai Strong (he/they) is a public speaker, writer and mental health advocate pursuing his MS in Social Work as he intends to become a licensed therapist to help bridge the gaps between the disabled and LGBT+ communities. Born four months early at 2lbs and 8oz, losing oxygen he entered the world with the will to survive a fight. At the age of two, Malakai was diagnosed with Spastic Cerebral Palsy, which means that he was born with damage to the side of the brain that controls walking and fine motor skills.
