The book develops a new, coherent, understandable theory of superconductivity directly based on thermodynamics and molecular quantum mechanics. In the Fermi "contact" theory of superconductivity, if conducting electrons have Fermi "contact", there will be dissipative electron scattering, and no superconductivity.
