Autorenporträt

Bea Byrnes considers no single place to be home and claims to belong to the world, an earthling. In reality, however, she is a front-end developer and cybersecurity advisor in Canada. She has an MS in Compter Science and though her brain still operates in 0s and 1s, she finds herself in an abstract realm where she unravels the complexities of being and beyond through stories and poetry. Superstes is her first attempt to untangle these threads. Her goal with publishing her work is to connect with the readers through an invisible bond of resilience. When Bea is not working, she can be found hiking, sitting by the water, working out, singing unabashedly (though everyone is listening), savoring caramel chocolates, and offering her devotion to her feline goddess.

PS: Since Bea is not formally trained in creative writing or storytelling, she draws inspiration from her favourite authors and poets. She is grateful for the grace of readers who forgive any imperfections in her work.
