He is the founding director of the Institute of Supply Chain and Operations Management (ISCOM) and the founder of ISCAI, a consultancy specializing in supply chain analytics and intelligence. Professor Cai serves as an Associate Editor of the Decision Sciences Journal and a Senior Editor of the Production and Operations Management Journal. He has published more than 50 peer-reviewed papers in esteemed academic journals, including Production and Operations Management, Marketing Science, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Management Science, and PNAS.
