Autorenporträt
Kibret Mequanint, Ph. D., is a professor in the Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at Western University, Canada. His research focuses on biomaterials, tissue and regenerative medicine, interfacing polymer science, materials and chemical engineering, and life sciences. Over the past 20 years, his work has spanned fundamental understandings and translational research in cell-material interactions, the design of novel polymer biomaterials for medical devices, and therapeutic radiation dosimeters.  Ababay Ketema Worku, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in sustainable energy engineering at Bahir Dar Institute of Technology, Bahir Dar University. His research interests include energy storage and conversion devices, advanced materials, composite materials, electrocatalysts, nanomaterials, materials synthesis and processing, and batteries (metal-air batteries). Muluken Zegeye Getie, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of mechanical engineering at Bahir Dar Institute of Technology, Bahir Dar University. His research areas include energy transition, energy efficiency enhancement, thermal refrigeration, solar energy, energy management and policy issues, and, more generally, renewable energy. Dr. Getie received his Ph.D. from the Université Bourgogne Franche-Comté, France, an M.Sc. in Sustainable Energy Engineering from Bahir Dar University, and a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Mekelle University in 2021, 2014, and 2005, respectively.  Zerihun Getahun Workineh, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral researcher in biomechanics and mechanobiology with the Department of Information Technology and Communication at the University of Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona.
