In the case of Julie Markos, her victim worked for Fineman and Swanson, a wholesale buy of clothes, accessories and other high end products. She was a buyer of designer woman's dresses. The other three wholesale buyers of clothing and high end products are questioned.

Bill Fergusion discovered his victim bought 5,000 pairs of red stiletto heels from the Krenshaw Brothers, another high end buyer in Pittsburgh. Bill questions them as well as the other three.

It soon become evident that Fergusion's case and Julie's overlap and Bill becomes Julie's partner. It is also clear that the woman tortured to death was not this sadistic killer's first victim and the sadistic killer may be one or both of the Krenshaws, or Fineman and or Swanson. As a result, Julie must solve the two cases before the sadistic killer decides to make her his next victim.
