The production of synthetic or artificial seeds using micropropagules opens up new vistas in agricultural biotechnology. In addition, these propagules may be used for germplasm preservation of elite plant species and the exchange of plant materials between national and international laboratories. Autorenporträt
Dr. Mohammad Faisal has over 12 years of research experience in Plant Biotechnology and is currently working as an Associate Professor at the Department of Botany & Microbiology, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He received the Plant Biotechnologist Award from the SESR, India (2017), the Scientist of the Year Award-2015 from NESA (2015), and several national and international fellowships. He is a member of several academic bodies/societies and Fellow of the SESR. He has published over 70 research articles, 3 book chapters and 4 books, and serves on the editorial board of several reputed journals. Dr. Abdulrahman Alatar is a Professor at the Department of Botany & Microbiology, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He is also serving as a consultant for human resources and management at the Ministry of Higher Education, Saud Arabia. He has been the PI and Co-I on various projects. Further, he has published more than 60 scientific articles and2 books.¿
