DR SIMS IS A RECENT WIDOWER AND HAVING RETURNED TO HIS ROOTS NOW RESIDES IN THE MUMBLES NEAR SWANSEA. AT 80 YEARS OF AGE, HE DECIDED TO TURN FROM TECHNICAL WRITING TO AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL WORKS AND STUDIED SHORT STORY WRITING AT SWANSEA UNIVERSITY.
