Autorenporträt
Devorah Lee was born in Jacksonville, Florida in 1952, during a period of the pervasive Black-Market baby ring; in today's terms we'd call it "human trafficking!" Later in life, learned she was a victim of this illegal baby market's egregious transgression. She was raised in Beaufort, SC, until graduating and now resides in Mt. Pleasant, SC, for most of her adult life. She spent ten years searching for her birth parents. She shares the tools and resources she used during her journey to achieve the impossible. She is an advocate for adoptees looking for their biological parents and parents looking for birth to children, bringing families together. She's learned the dire importance of knowing one's origin.
