In this book, the reader gets to know another form of history in Egypt, a form that was not hidden or blocked, but was only in the pages of old newspapers, and perhaps some attention was received in his time, but over time he became unknown or semi -unknown. We will return together to the old newspapers to examine it and extract from it the news, incidents and conflicts in the past. In some chapters, we re -read mysterious incidents, other funny, and a third strange, all of which have already occurred in past times, and published in different newspapers, some of which ended a happy ending, and others are not. In other chapters, we get to know the tricks of Tawfiq al -Hakim with his readers, the unity of Youssef Idris in his battles, the calmness of Ahmed Bahaa El -Din with his crises, the positions of the life of Taha Hussein and his days, and the surprises of Muhammad Hassanein Heikal that endless. The goal is not to search for strange, exciting or funny stories, but rather the goal is to collect some parts of the image that Egyptian society was in these distant years, and with all the issues, incidents and intellectual and political conflicts it occupied.
