One-man police force Augie Schroeder, also a high school chum, Sheriff E. L. (thats his name) Klipstein and new, young Coroner Ron Adelman, confirm Bonnies suspicions when she needs them. Klipstein wishes Bonnie would just butt out. Perry Powell, short a jib of a full set of sails, has input too.

Dena (Doris) Miller wrote a one-act play in third grade and still writes every day. She was a teenage pilot, won prizes in competitive speech and drama, and played third base in a government girls' baseball league. Dena played saxophone in a band and now plays a Hammond organ and a keyboard. She has been a docent or volunteer for over a decade at two famous Western museums. She lives in Southern California.
