TALES SIDE UP is volume two of John O'Loughlin's 'Collected Short Prose' and is comprised of three prior books dating from 1982-4. The title is of course a pun on tails, since the first volume was entitled 'Two Sides of the Same Coin' and that more or less metaphysical coin persists here with even greater ideological intensity, if on a basis excluding any heads-like commitment to an aphoristic appendix, as with Vol.1, and therefore concerned with a kind of fictional presentation of the ideological philosophy of Social Transcendentalism.
