As the sun finally settled over the horizon, wisps began to flicker into existence from the forest surrounding them. The dance beat slowed down suddenly into an ominous, ritualistic rhythm. Gregory reached over and grabbed Charley's hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze. He stood up from his seat, and as he rose his clothes disappeared. His wings unfurled into a glitter of blue and green light as his tattoos crawled over his skin to take their place as intricate knotwork. He glanced over to give Charley an indicative look; His eyes had taken on the feline pupils that were ubiquitous among the Fae. Charley took the cue and got up from her seat as well. The long dining table dissolved into a cloud of wisps that fluttered to join the rest around the clearing. In its place, a small group of them coalesced into a single form until the white bed that Charley and Mayce had shared the night before appeared in its place. The courts of Fairy had formed a huge circle around the bed that spanned into the horizon on all sides. Gregory led Charley to the foot of the bed and took her into an embrace. He kissed her as they descended onto the bed. They kissed slowly and deeply. Charley had been so deeply immersed in this world in the recent days but had barely spoken a word to Gregory. She didn't know quite why, but she missed him. She took full advantage of the opportunity to take in every bit of his touch.
