Autorenporträt

SITA BHASKAR is the author of two books: Flirting with Trouble and Shielding Her Modesty.

She is a contributor to The Oldest Love Story: A Motherhood Anthology, and to In the Silence of this Room listed as a novel semi-finalist in 2008 William Faulkner Creative Writing Competition (and later published by Grey Sparrow Press).

While her short stories have been published in several literary magazines, her short story, Swayamvaram, which appeared in Crab Orchard Review's special issue, Come Together - Occasions, Ceremonies & Celebrations, was listed in Best American Short Stories (BASS) under '100 other distinguished stories.'
